Migrate from Substack to Lnkbase Newsletter
Export your list from Substack, import the file, and your readers keep getting your newsletter. People who unsubscribed or bounced stay out.
Export your subscribers from Substack
In Substack, open Dashboard → Subscribers, choose All subscribers, then ⋯ → Export with all columns.
For everything at once, Settings → Import/Export gives a zip with your posts and list. Substack's export doesn't include names.
Import the file
In your dashboard, open Audience → Import & export and upload the CSV. We match the columns for you: email, names, tags, signup date, source and status. Check the mapping, add tags or lists if you like, and start the import.
Rows marked unsubscribed, bounced, cleaned, spam or unconfirmed are left out and suppressed, so they never get an email. Every address is checked for typos, throwaway inboxes and invalid syntax, and the import report lists each skipped row with the reason.
Send from your own domain
Add your domain under Settings → Domains, publish the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records it shows, and we warms it up for you: 200 emails the first day, doubling each day.
Move your paid subscribers
Substack bills through your own Stripe account. Connect it, recreate your tiers under Monetize, and mark your paid readers premium in Lnkbase Newsletter (from their subscriber page or the API) so they keep access while their billing moves.
Keep your old links working
Point your domain at your new site and add redirects under Website → Redirects (a CSV import works) so old post links land on the new pages.
